Signature Activities & Student Life
Student Parliament Election
Every year in July, the school conducts the Student Parliament Election through a Direct Ballot System. The election for the President of the Student Parliament is conducted indirectly, while the positions of Vice President and Secretary are elected through direct voting. Through this democratic election process, students gain practical understanding of good citizenship, leadership, responsibility, democratic values, and participation.
Vermicompost Production Project
Vermicompost plays an important role in maintaining soil fertility. To help students understand the process and importance of organic waste management, the school has established a Vermicompost Production Project. The project provides students with practical knowledge of how vermicompost is produced and how it can be used to improve soil fertility. Through this project, approximately 150 kilograms of vermicompost are produced every six to eight months, giving students valuable hands-on experience in sustainable practices and environmental responsibility.
Educational Tours and Field Visits
To enrich students’ overall learning experience beyond regular classroom studies, educational tours and field visits are planned annually. These tours provide students with opportunities to explore picturesque locations and experience different environments alongside their friends and teachers. They gain practical knowledge about historical, geographical, and industrial aspects, while also developing greater awareness and understanding of the environment.
Annual Gathering
The Annual Gathering is organized with the aim of providing students with opportunities for overall development and self-expression. The programme features a wide range of themes, including patriotism, national integration, historical events from the era of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, traditional culture, folk dances, regional dance forms, human relationships, and the nine emotions (Navarasas) expressed in literature. The Annual Gathering gives students the freedom to participate, perform, and showcase their artistic talents, while also helping them develop confidence, creativity, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Guidance from Subject Experts
For students preparing for the SSC Board Examination, the school provides specialized guidance from experienced teachers who have served as Chief Examiners and Paper Setters for the SSC Board. Their expert guidance helps students strengthen their subject knowledge, understand examination requirements, and approach the board examinations with greater confidence and preparedness.
Other Activities
To support the holistic development of students, the school conducts a variety of academic, co-curricular, cultural, scientific, and environmental activities. These include language preservation activities, the “Learn with Fun” initiative, weekly mathematics puzzles, and educational plays based on various subjects. Students also participate in scientific, environmental, and geographical projects, along with tree plantation activities and RYLA projects, including medicinal plant cultivation.

Social Initiatives
In our culture, social responsibility is considered as important as our duties towards our parents, teachers, and motherland. The school therefore strives to instil in students the value of helping those in need and contributing to the community. Students actively participate in various social initiatives, including: • Sending Rakhi to soldiers serving at the borders • Providing educational materials to flood-affected students and communities • Organizing cleanliness awareness rallies • Offering drinking water to travelers during periods of rising temperatures • Conducting voter awareness street plays • Supporting needy students with educational materials on their birthdays • Donating books to the school library • Contributing towards the development of the school These initiatives help students understand the importance of compassion, social responsibility, and active participation in the community.
